Compassion in SGV is a volunteer organization created to support and protect our San Gabriel Valley, CA communities. You can request a chaperone or be a volunteer to help keep our fellow community members safe.

  • All volunteers must:
  • Test negative for COVID-19 or submit a completed vaccine card
  • Respect COVID-19 safety procedures

  • To be accompanied and stay safe, please request a chaperone. Fill out our request form, or call or text us at (626) 899-0206.
  • Walk you to your car, bus, or local destination
  • Accompany you while you close your business
  • Help provide a sense of security, while maintaining respect and privacy

WHY SGV

In short, San Gabriel Valley is our home, and the SGV is home to the largest concentration of Asian Americans in the country. Compassion in SGV was born out of the rise in anti-Asian attacks and hate crimes. Our purpose is simple—to protect our community. We prioritize compassion and unity above all to stop AAPI hate and foster a community of togetherness.
